Christian musician Britt Nicole was a 2011 Dove Award Nominee for “Female Vocalist of the Year” and has made a positive impact on her generation. Her songs have topped Christian music charts and she is serving God with all of her heart.
Nicole’s music is uplifting and is all about spreading the truth. Her song “All This Time” was released in January and is available now on iTunes. Her third album, “Gold,” will be released March 27, 2012.
Listen to Nicole’s new song here!
Nicole is not only a singer but also a songwriter. She collaborated with songwriters Ben Glover and David Garcia to pen “All This Time.” She discusses the meaning behind the new song and shares her testimony.
‘All This Time’ is the story of how I met Jesus,’ says Britt. ‘It’s a reminder that whatever we face in life, we don’t have to face it alone, because Jesus promised to never leave us or forsake us.’ The single has already rocketed to No. 10 on the CHR chart and No. 24 on the AC chart after only three weeks at radio (Jesusfreakhideout.com).
One of my favorite Britt Nicole songs is “The Lost Get Found.” The music video is so encouraging! It represents Nicole stepping out in faith and being a bold witness…hence, this is how the lost get found. Watch here to be inspired!
“Walk on the Water” is a song that touched me personally. When I first heard the song, it really stuck in my head and inspired me to follow my dreams!
Nicole explains the meaning behind it here:
Here are some of the lyrics to “Walk on the Water”:
So what are you waiting for?
What do you have to lose?
Your insecurities try to alter you
You know you’re made for more
So don’t be afraid to move
Your faith is all
It takes and you can
Walk on the water too
So get out
Your fear fall to the ground
No time to waste
Don’t you turn around and miss out
Everything you were made for
I know you’re not sure
So you play it safe
Try to run away
If you take that first step
Into the unknown
He won’t let you go
