Christian Life

From Project Inspired Girl, Cara – Despite the Laughter, He Listened to God

My favorite Bible story is Noah’s ark. Why? Because when God commanded Noah to build the ark, and Noah obeyed, his friends laughed at him. And despite the laughter, Noah still listened to God. And we all know what happened next.

This story has special meaning to me because being unique and different as a Christian can be a good thing. For example, we should feel happy and comfortable about being very open about our Faith. I always share Bible verses, encouraging words, and Project Inspired posts on my Facebook page. My friends see that as different, but I know that it is making a difference when I do so.

Yes, people laugh and think its weird. But it’s like my Dad always tells me: “You have to stand for something!” And that means standing up for what’s right…even if you’re standing alone.

God wants us to make good choices, be leaders, and be good examples. So when everyone else is doing what they consider “cool,” we should do what’s right because that’s what is truly cool.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world. but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will. — Romans 12:2

What we should do is share about how God impacts your life! and all the wonderful things He does for us. Another thing is don’t wait to witness to someone because we not guaranteed a tomorrow. A good song to help encourage you to do that I found recently is “Here I Go Again” By Casting crowns that talks about sharing Jesus with your friends before its to late.

So don’t be ashamed to to talk about Jesus! When you stand up for God you make God proud!

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. — Matthew 28:19-20

It makes me Happy when I praise God and tell other about Him and His unending love! And remember Psalm 28:7-

The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

God won’t give us anything He thinks we can’t handle and He is with us always in the good times and the hard ones. This wonderful song, “I lift my hands” by Chris Tomlin, will help you remember!

We are all special to Him. And every one of us can make a difference!

Thank you so much- I can see God bringing my non-christian friend to me and showing himself through other people and events and she is also an obsessed Lady Gaga lover and I shouldn’t be afraid to share what I believe and about Jesus- encouraging :))))

I post bible verses, godly messages and videos on my facebook too 🙂 I use to be ashamed but not anymore. I thought…it’s better to look like a fool to the world for Christ sake than a fool to God. And i wouldn’t change a thing <3

This year, I have been majorly persecuted on Facebook for posts I make, and also at school for converting to Christianity. But as Phillipians often tells us, I consider everything rubbish and a loss compared to Christ!

I read about this in my devotion recently. A lot of the Chris Tomlin-type worship songs make me teary when I sing them for worship at church. I’m ready for the day when we’ll all be up in heaven singing freely with the angels. Having a huge party and lifting God’s name. Its hard, but like Noah we have to keep pressing on and obey God, even though His requests make us want to go “WHAAAT!?”

Love this! Another good verse that encourages is: John 12:32

Jesus said, “And I,when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw ALL MEN UNTO ME.”
