Hey Sisters in Christ!
A few months ago at camp I met a kind guy whom I was introduced to by my friend. I was happy and surprised to find out that he was also a Christian and shared the same interests as me. Even though I am only fifteen, I am very cautious in looking for traits I would want in my future husband, including being kind, a great motivator, and lover of the Lord. Throughout the week, I was very happy to see that this boy had many of these traits I look for in a (potential) husband. Considering we are only teenagers, I was REALLY surprised and pleased! Sadly though, I left without getting his phone number and we haven’t been in contact since. Earlier this month though, I found him on Facebook and almost reached out to him, but decided against it as I heard that he had taken someone to Homecoming, and I did not feel like it would had been a good idea. Earlier this week though I found out that the girl this boy took went only as friends. Along with this, this boy only took this girl to cheer her up as her boyfriend (who lives in another state) was not able to make it to Homecoming. I’m thinking of reaching out to this boy again, but am conflicted. I’ve been praying to God recently about this situation, and but I’m really worried. I honestly don’t know about dating in high school, and I’m just worried about getting my heart broken, especially since it would be my first time. I would love to get some advice on this situation and/or if you’ve had any similar situations like this. Thank you for listening to this high school sophomore’s rant about “boy problems”; I really appreciate it and can’t wait to here any advice you guys can give me!

In God’s name,
Anna

I know I am sooo late on responding, but if you have not already reached out to him, go for it girl! I think it would be awesome. I don’t think it would be weird at all. Sometimes, you just have to do it because you never know the outcome. 🙂 God bless
