Okay I have always had a BIG fear of the end times! I know that it’s supposed to be a good thing!! But I fear of the days that lead to the last day, of how bad they are supposed to be. And how scary! Also there’s a part of me that really wants to fall in love and have kids and I feel like the only people who are saying not to worry about the end times and that heaven is better are people who are already married with kids and stuff. Also I saw this thing about whats supposed to happen on September 23rd {Look it up if you want but I don’t want to freak anyone out}

Is there anyone else who is scared of the ”End times”?? I get really nervous when people talk about it and when I see things about it on the internet it!!

And I feel like I am the only one who is so terrified of it.

You are not the only one, darling. I get scared, too. I also get scared of waking up in Hell, even though i know I belong with Jesus. It is okay that we are afraid as long as we trust that God will conquer our fears and pray that He will protect us. It will be fine. Believe me, I am comforting myself more than you.

You are not the only one at all. I am very afraid and like you, I want to go to college, have a family, career, etc. I get scared whenever my dad watches the news or talks with people about prophecy. I believe I am saved, but the events around the end times and then just suddenly disappearing scares me. I’m scared for September 23 too. I don’t think the world can end yet, though, because the Bible says that every nation, which meant tribe or ethnic group when the Bible was written, must have the gospel preached to them first. There are still very many unreachrd tribes. I feel just like you though, and I wish I had some good advice.

Mathew 24:36 read it , please , it helped me out so much . And not to seem disrespectful or rude but how can some atheist predict the day that our Savior Jesus Christ is coming for us

Hello @JesusLovesMeEternity, I know how you are feeling, because a year ago I felt that way too. As long as you have Christ in your heart that is all you need! There is no need for fear because you will NOT go through the events described in Revelation. After the rapture, the saved will always be where Jesus is. And in his presence we find comfort, peace, and love. On top of that,we will have transformed bodies with a new mindset, I doubt that our minds will be fixed on earthly matters. And I know nothing about the whole September 23 issue, but I do know that man’s conspiracies ( if it is one) are not beneficial to us… rather that God’s words and prophecies are.

My fear of the End Times started about a year and a half ago, and I got extreme anxiety out of it. I wasn’t able to sleep, or enjoy things I used to love because I was so afraid. And even though I’m still absolutely terrified, here’s what I’ve learned:

God loves you so much, and he doesn’t want anything bad to happen to you. Satan uses fear tactics, because that’s all he has. He tries to scare you by making things seem worse than they really are. Also, if you think about it, most of the information that we get about this stuff comes from politics. Many of the people in politics use fear to try and scare people into voting for them. They figure that if they scare us so much, and they promise to take that fear away, we’ll vote for them. So don’t listen to what they say 🙂 It’s usually lies anyway. The Bible says that no one will know the day or the hour, and if everyone is saying the day and the hour, then how can that particular day and that specific hour be right?

As for wanting to grow up and have kids one day, I feel the exact same way. I want to get married, and have kids, and watch them grow up and then cry when they move out and get married and have kids of their own. I want to have a career, and I want to make a different in the world as an adult. And you know what? I think God wants that for me, and I think He wants it for you, too. I have spent pretty much my entire life waiting for the day when I get my first job, when I get married, and when I have my first kid. So why would God take that away? I honestly don’t think he will. Like I said earlier, he loves you, and he loves me.

In the meantime, don’t worry so much! The Bible says that nothing can come from worrying, and it’s not like we can prolong the events by worrying about it. So go outside, breathe in the fresh air, and smile. Laugh with people you love, and enjoy the life that God gave you. Because he loves you so much, and he didn’t create this world to be a world of fear and anxiety. He created it to be a world of love, laughter, and hope.

I hope this helps <3
