So, PI recently made a post that I’m sure will be very controversial. Heaven forbid that people know anything about sex till marriage. *Sarcasm*
It waa really great article that showed sex not to be villainous thing, and didn’t shame women who don’t wait till marriage.
It was nice to see a Christian acknowledge sex and not just express how if your not married don’t worry about it. I think that the Christian community must stop beige afraid even the word sex, and this article was a great start!

You mean the article about what to expect on your wedding night?

I agree, Christianity needs to stop treating sex as something dirty. Honestly, I’m 21 and I still cringe a little when I read/hear something about sex (even when I read that article, which was completely appropriate) because I grew up in such a strict purity culture.

*Looks up and reads article*

I guess I am confused where there is controversy? It says nothing about sex outside of marriage, hardly mentions anything other than thoughts you might have on your wedding night if you haven’t (or even have) had sex before.

I mean, there is a mention that God holds sex at high value, which is true, but otherwise its just about dismissing fears….which most people have of that wedding night, especially if you have been abstinent up to that point.

Not to hate on anything, I just dont see where the controversy, or even how much this differs from standard church teaching.
