It’s just… this is the last time I am going to sit down in that theater and see the New Line cinema logo pass up, hear the music, see it start… and at the end, that is the last time the screen will go black and I will see the credits roll. The thought of that is just… ARGH.

I thought it was really good. I read the book 2 years ago, so I’ve forgotten most of the details. That’s probably why l liked the movie 😛

It killed me inside. I was sobbing like a loser throughout pretty much the entire second half. (Especially at several particular parts… you all know.) .

I saw it… I haven’t read or seen anything previously. It was good, but confusing.
I was confused, but I got out of it: (thoughts I had in no particular order)

I went with my dad and some older guys we knew from church and such. It was pretty amazing, but it also made me cry my eyeballs out. (I wonder if the random dude next to me felt weird sitting next to a crying girl. Poor guy.)

I brought a box of tissues into the theater.

What did you think of the side stories?
I don’t know; I liked the first one, but I feel like if anything the Hobbit movies could have just been two total and I would have been fine with that. And I think that the last two movies were only split into two as a cash grab. They could have been one movie and added the Wood-elves part to the first movie.

^^I absolutely hate the Tauriel/Kili relationship. It ruins the significance of the Legolas/Gimli relationship.

^^I’ve only seen one movie, and I highly disliked Kili and Tauriel. He seemed creepy, and she seemed highly annoying… and didn’t appreciate Legolas…
