Hi everyone! Im a Junior in High School and as you all know, prom session is in full swing,However, A certain thought has been roaming in my head lately. I’ve been wondering what I would do if a boy who I am not sure is a believer were to ask me to go to Prom. I for sure would not date a non-believer, but in this case, since its a dance, what would i Do? I dont expect to be getting asked, I was wondering what you guys thought One should do if this situation were to occur. Say yes or no..?

I don’t think there would be anything wrong with it, especially since it’s just a dance. Now, if you were asking what to do if a guy was asking you to be in a committed relationship and you aren’t sure about his religious views, the answer is obvious. But if a guy was just asking you to have a good time at prom, I see nothing wrong with it – as long as he’s a good guy.

If he’s a decent guy that’s going to treat you respectably, and you want to go, then why not? It’s not a committed relationship, it’s a dance. Just make sure he understands that you’re just going as friends and nothing more! Also, if there is a guy you want to go with, you can always ask him. You don’t have to wait for a guy to ask you. You could even go to prom with some girl friends if you want. If you do go to prom, have fun!
