I am looking for a new quiet time. Are there any you have used that worked well. Any specific author or series?

Hey lexdreamer, you should check out the latest issue of Girlz 4 Christ Magazine. (It’s the one with Nicole Weider on the cover.) Not only are there devotions in the magazine itself, but it has recommendations for devo books! One of my favorites is called Radical God Talk. The author, Monica Withers, is doing a special right now if you buy the book online, you get a free $25 Restaurant.com gift certificate if you use the word “G4Christ” at checkout.

Let me know if you want any other suggestions. I have plenty!

Hey lexdreamer! I have really found it helpful to get right into God’s word in quiet time. Right now I am doing a one year study of the whole bible. If thats not what you feel called to there are tons of other plans on the She Reads Truth app if you have access to that. I really recommend finding a plan that has you reading God’s word everyday. I think its very important to be right in God’s word to fellowship with Jesus as He is the word of God!

I am absolutely in LOVE with the book/devotion called His Princess by Sheri Shepard! It’s such an amazing book and it’s written from the perspective of Jesus himself! (Which I think is super cool) it’s SOOO AMAZING and I recommend it to EVERYONE! 💕 Also, Cass, you and I are both on the wonderful journey of reading the Bible in a year!!!! I love the SheReadsTruth app as well (even though you do have to pay for some stuff)! Cass, I pray that God works wonders through you as you read the bible each day (Idk about you, but I’m on day 4 and am already loving it!)
