Tell me why below! I’ve always been more of an English/writing girl, but I’m working on improving my math skills. It’s not nearly as bad as I thought! I’m improving pretty quickly and find it useful in a lot of situations. 🙂

I like it, but it depends on what I do. Some of it is nice, like graphing or the binomial theorem, but I hate word problems 😛 Also, when doing it, I see it like solving a puzzle.

I agree with Emily. Equations are like puzzles to me. I love the satisfaction I get after solving a problem. I think it’s kind of the same reason that people love video games (bear with me). People enjoy video games because there is a clear goal, and you know when you’ve finished, when you’ve solved it. Math does sort of the same thing for me.

I don’t find math to be so daunting, but neither do I find it interesting so while I’m okay with it, I wouldn’t want to do it on my own time. I guess, I’m not really a math person, but I do use basic counting skills 😉

I love math! I don’t know exactly why. There’s also a sort of satisfaction that comes from when I solve something correctly and I love how structured it is. When we tie things up together and make connections or show how it’s applicable in life, it is astounding. It’s also like a puzzle. I also like how it prety much never changes. In science, while I think it’s cool, theories change rapidly but in math, it stays the same. The quadratic formula will always work. It may become unpopular if someone finds a shortcut, but it will still work and be true.
