Hello, I am turning 16 soon, and all my life I never really have had friends. I live in a small town, where there are not a lot of people. I am a Christian and have been trying to do the youth group thing, but to be honest I hate my youth group. The closest one near me is a hour away, and I don’t really like the youth pastor. They decided to add a lot of young kids I to the youth, and then stopped speaking messages the high schoolers could relate to. They made the messages for the younger kids. All of the high schoolers started leaving, as did I. I am attending a new church in my home town, they are thinking about starting up a youth group with this church, but the same youthpaster will probably be leading it. So, to make a long story short, youth group isn’t really a way for me too meet kids my age right now. Also, I am a homeschooler. So that really narrows down the possibilitys. Any advise, please help! Also I would even be willing to do a pen pal kinda thing if I have to. I just need to be socal.

I was homeschooled and are from a small town and how I met people was through clubs in my community (4-H was my big one) and by volunteering with other teens (mostly at the local library). Additionally are there any other church youth groups you could visit and try out or any homeschooling events (even if you have to travel a bit to get to them)?
