God created every single person on earth equally. Now I’m sorry but I’ve seen a lot of comments that seem to make the statement that girls are better than boys all around. And that isn’t true. Girls lie too, not just guys. Girls cheat too, not just guys. Girls lust too, not just guys. It seems like girls have taken on this “holier than thou” attitude when it comes to boys and that’s just not right. Girls are not sinless just like boys are not sinless because we’ve ALL sinned. I don’t know how girls got put on this high pedastal as if we’re perfect, because we aren’t. We, girls and boys, are equal in the eyes of the Lord.

Hmmm I’m not sure where this is coming from, but it seems like to me society steps on women, I don’t feel like I’ve been put above men at all.
But yes, I agree that we’re equal and we need to be treated as such.
Sidenote: The whole ”women don’t lust and men can’t control themselves” thing is a lie put out there by Christian culture.

To be more clear, it’s here at project inspired that I feel girls are put above men. Now don’t get me wrong, encouraging and building girls up is absolutely wonderful! BUT doing that by tearing the opposite gender down is not right to me. Here’s what bugs me the most: when girls say “boys do this” or “boys are like that” etc. I feel like that’s a general statement referring to all boys and you can’t speak for all boys. Because the boys I know aren’t heartless monsters who only want to go around having sex with women and doing terrible things. I’m all for Christian girls being confident and strong, because your right society does step on women. But I’m not for Christian girls putting themselves above boys, or anybody else of that matter, because being a Christian doesn’t make you better than anyone else.

Lol I read a book recently where the girl (the author) suggested (in passing, it wasn’t even about feminism/equalism) that the boys of the world hire a good public-relations representative because they seriously need it. XD it just made me laugh because it’s true! Sometimes people act as if women are sweet, innocent, angelic, pure creatures and men are wicked predators.
I think one reason we (as in Christians) feel this way is because of the whole modesty debate. People act as if men cannot control themselves, and are sex-obsessed (and CANNOT stop this, after all they are men), but of course women don’t have this problem.< Obviously, this isn't true, but if it were, then I could see how women might think men were below them.
So you see, this whole "modesty/ keep every bro from stumbling" thing isn't good for women OR men. (Though obviously, if you know a guy struggles with sexual problems or pornography or something I do think you should take care to dress tastefully. My opinion of 1 Corinthians 8:13 is that it means that if you KNOW someone struggles with something you should be careful and considerate of their weakness around them, but I don’t think it means you are responsible for everyone’s thoughts.)
Anyway, thank you for making this topic! It's a good one. I love all my guy friends dearly, and I hate it when people make out men to be something other than human :/

I haven’t noticed that around here, but I also haven’t been looking. 😛
@Adventure, why should you cover up more if you know a guy struggles with pornography?? Wearing a tighter or lower cut shirt doesn’t make you pornography. O.o

Lol “doesn’t make you pornography”. Thank you that made me laugh.
Anyways I haven’t really noticed it much on here but I do get what you’re saying. I think that when girls say stuff like that it’s not meaning to sound superior but instead, trying to understand how a lot of guys think and act. And never have I seen any girl on this website imply that she thinks she is perfect. I will keep my eye out for more stuff like that now though cause I didn’t really think much of it before.
