Hi all my PI friends! This is another one of those forums where all of us work together and annoyingly message the operators of this site.
This time, I have noticed several glitches popping up on the website. Let’s all message PI about this.
–“Post Moderation” Let’s just face it. The “moderation” time is WAY too long. Eventually these posts are lost. To make PI a better place for everyone, we need to let the people who run PI know that they need to be more vigilant about this.
–Odd people still haven’t dissapeared. There are still SO many weird profiles. The other day I swear I saw the profile pic of a middle aged man. I know some of you like adventuregirl is totally fine with this, but it’s just creepy to me. This site is clearly for girls.
– Birthday greetings Whenever I send a birthday greeting, my friend seems never to get it. We ask that the PI operators please work on this.
What about you guys? Have you noticed anything weird, wrong, or off with this website? I know we all love PI and want it to be the best it can be for everyone 😀
So, let’s message them about this and improve PI!!!!! 😀

A few months ago I saw a grown man on one of PI’s Facebook posts about how he was unable to register online the site, and like less than a week later the same profile picture was here, in the “welcome the new girls!” section. I think it’s important that girls, especially teens, have a place of their own (or does that make me a hypocrite? I joined when I was a teen), but then how would you get around that?

I think the moderation is strange. For the first few posts, you have to wait for ages to see your post, but after that, there’s no moderation whatsoever.

TOTALLY agree Wolf. And Justilean—YES. We need to ENSURE that this site is for girls only. Why would a man want to be on here anyway? It’s suspicious. I am messaging them RN. (Just copy and paste what I’ve written into your message.) Thanks so much!!

I’m not supportive of people like this creating profiles on PI, and yes, it’s creepy that middle aged men would want to be on a website specifically for girls. My point earlier was that this is the interwebz, millions of people use it and PI probably can’t really catch all the people who don’t have good intentions.

@adventuregirl I agree, but if PI CAN root out creepy people, they should. So I’m messaging them now about that and if we call all get this to their attention, it can be a little extra nudge about it. I love Project Inspired and I want it to be a great place for everybody.

Yaaaay! So let’s get messaging 😉

Having middle-aged guys on here is definitely creepy. …on the bright side, at least they’re honest about it? It is the internet, anyone could be a middle-aged man….I’ll shut up now.
And the moderation is very weird. Like Wolf said, it takes forever at first, then it’s nonexistent.

@rainbowuni I agree. I do think though that honesty is still not going to spare them from getting off. aNd you know, I feel like someone is making all those spam profiles for fun. It sure looks like it (I can give you links if you want.) But can you message them and let them know about the moderation, birthday greetings glitches and more weird people? If they see that we found a middle aged man they could at least keep an eye out for his profile.

Hold up? On what?

I would like a mod to be present in the forums 😀 Who could say things like “please come back to the topic” or “there’s already a thread out there for this topic, I’ll close this one” and would actually be respected as an authority ^^ But maybe they don’t have the possibilities to employ one?
