Alright, so a couple weeks ago, my neighbor called me to get in touch with my dad for business. But it ended up being his son’s phone, who is also my friend. I’m confused why he used someone else’s phone? What if his son didn’t want me to have his number? I texted him thinking it was his dad and I feel so stupid now. I used to have a crush on him in high school, but we moved on from all that. Towards the beginning of summer, we had a nice conversation and it reminded me of talking to a good friend, so I really hope he didn’t block me. And he seemed happy. I could see him looking at me a couple times, and maybe blushing a little or smiling sideways. If he did block me, why would he? When I texted him last, it said “Read” but when I texted him again, there was nothing on the bottom. It’s also my birthday so I hope he didn’t. Advice please? Thank you! Also, what could I do to make sure no one ever blocks me? For my birthday today, my friends definitely helped me see the way they see me, but things like this, I can’t help feeling ignored, creepy, and scared to have anyone know I like them or appreciate them even as a friend or person, even with my girl friends.

Would he think I still am that creepy girl who likes him? When we were talking, he seemed happy and was talking to me like a friend

First off, Happy (late) Birthday! 🙂
Secondly, it doesn’t sound like you did anything that could be seen as creepy. I’m sure his dad asked him to borrow his phone or at least told him that he did. So when he got the text directed to his dad, he probably just passed on the message and didn’t think he needed to respond.
