So a while back I had like this huge crush on one guy and he liked me back. Any one who experienced that before knows how amazing it feels!
But we’ve had a falling out and now I don’t know if I actually like this one guy because I want to feel that same feeling again or because he truly is someone I’d love to hang out with.
So how can I just dismiss those false feelings? How can I get rid of them for good? Thanks!

I’d try engaging in conversation with him and get to know him as a friend. Let your friendship develop and grow, and it will be a very organic relationship as friends or even as something more if you decide that you really do like him. Those feelings are really tough to get away from! I have been struggling with the same issue as you. For me, positive affirmations and “girl power” and thoughts such as “I’m a strong, independent woman who don’t need no man unless God sends one my way” have helped me feel more confident in who I am as a single Daughter of Christ. Enjoy the freedom and independence you have as a single gal and be the happy girl that you are. If you aren’t happy being single, you can’t be happy in a relationship. Love is a beautiful thing, don’t get me wrong, but it takes time. A LOT of time. Hope this helps!
