I just got back from youth camp where I realized how much my boyfriend was getting between me and God. He started asking me questions about how long we were gonna last over FaceTime. I hit him with the bomb as gently as possible, but he still got very upset and I feel horrible and broken hearted to see him like this. He’s begging me for a second chance, but he’s not Christian and I find it hard to talk to him about God. Please give me any advice you might have.

First, I would like to applaud you for being strong enough to do this. I can imagine the amount of strength that it took to break it off with him. You might have already read this verse before, but it still states exactly what God thinks and He knows what is best for YOU.
2 Corinthians 6:14
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
There is such a thing as Missionary Dating, but the other person has to be willing to learn and grow in their faith. If you find it hard to talk to him about God, then he obviously doesn’t want to change. I’ve seen what a fixed marriage can cause. It is never pretty for the couple, kids, or somethings other people around them. My advice to you is to pray. Pray to God and listen to what He wants you to do. It sounds like you already have heard and heeded what He said. But, do seek God’s wisdom. God’s relationship with you is the most important. So, if your guy is causing a problem with your relationship with God, then something needs to change. Our God is a jealous God and does deserve our love and attention. That is my advice to you and I will be praying for you.
