Hello friends, I hope all is going well. Anyways…
So, yesterday, I VOLUNTEERED at a waterslide thing in Reno, NV. It was hot, I was stressed out, my feet hurt, etc. I worked voluntarily more hours than I was assigned since it looked like they needed help.
So, I come home and I was on Facebook, and I see a picture of the group I am involved with, called Intervarsity, at the college I go to, in frickin SANTA CRUZ BEACH BOARDWALK. Needless to say, I messaged my friend to say, “Why the blank was I not invited to this?” Apparently it was supposed to be just for the leaders, but some didn’t know and invited their other Intervarsity friends. I wasn’t one of those people I guess.
So, I’m already anxious that this summer isn’t gonna be fun, especially since the camp with my friends (that was Disney themed!!!) was full so I can’t go. And I am still waiting to see if there is room for the church camp to Hume Lake and San Diego with my friends (there should be, but I’m paranoid of course).
If I was invited to Santa Cruz, that probably would have been one of those summer days I would not trade for anything. The day would be over, but the memories of playing with my friends on the beach would have lasted forever. Instead, I was stuck without a chair, in Reno, burning hot, feet hurting, volunteering extra hours, and THIS is how I was repaid.
I am seriously so mad that I didn’t get to go to Santa Cruz with my friends yesterday (the guy I like was there! Yes he was! I’m trying to get to know him better!). I’m seriously so pissed off I don’t even know what to do. I still am worried nothing fun is gonna happen this summer…
Do you have any advice?

Girl I’m so sorry! I can completely relate. This summer has been freaking boring and frankly bad for me too. Technically it shouldn’t be, I’m at the beach for the summer but I have no one to hang out with so it’s really boring (it’s out of state, I don’t have my car…it’s a long story)
Anyway, every time you post something I’m like wait, are you me??
So sorry I don’t have any super brilliant advice for you, but you’re not alone! And we still have 2 entire months of summer to go.
