so my grandfather passed away a couple of months ago. I was super sad and really didnt think about this until about 3 weeks ago. He had a heart attack on Christmas Day. My heart was really heavy and I was crying a lot. The day before he passed away, that night, I was crying very hard.
I didn’t know what to do or what to feel. I was in the shower and I was praying to God to let His will be done so that my grandfather wouldnt be suffering anymore. I begged God something to happen.
The next morning on New Years Eve, my older brother told me that our grandfather had passed away.
A couple months later, my great-aunt was in the hospital because her cancer had gotten a lot worse. I prayed for something to happen so that she wouldnt suffer anymore. The next day I found out that she had passed away.
I dont know what to think about this.

i know what you mean, i used to be depressed a lot and then my my pet died (i was very attached, don’t judge me!) and a couple of months later my favorite, special horse died. i get how you fell about your grandpa, my great grandfather has been to the hospital twenty times this year( he’s in it now). yes, life is weird, and it rlly hurts sometimes, but like they say it happens for a reason (don’t know the reason though) hold in there!!! things get better.

I’m so sorry about that. My friend has a similar situation. But if they believed in God, you will see them again 🙂 We’re all going to die someday. This life is just temporary.

I see what you mean, you think it’s odd that each time you prayed, God took that person to heaven. Life is definitely weird, but when you think about it, what a cool experience! Prayer is powerful.

I’m sure God led you to pray those things, so do not worry about it. I’m not sure exactly how prayer works (aside from it’s obviously talking to God :P), but if you are praying for God’s will to be done and he decides to take them home, you can be certain that was the right thing to happen.
