what do you prefer on yourself? What do you consider “long hair” to be? What, to you, is “short hair”?

I guess short hair to me is anything that won’t touch your shoulders when you hold you head up normally, and your hair is down (of course). And I guess long hair is when it gets down to right above your elbows.

I like really long hair, personally. It’s nice. Mostly.

Side note: Don’t grow your hair to your hips; it’s a trap. Once it gets there, you’ll wanna cut it off ’cause it’s so high maintenance, but then you’ll be too scared to because it looks good…

Ask me how I know. xD

I have long hair .It goes just bellow the bottom of my shoulder blades .
I have seen people who can rock short hair but I can’t.
Long hair isn’t very much maintenance for me though.

I like long hair on me, it goes better with my face shape. I want waist length hair SO BAD.

Marrissa~ HAIR GROWING TIPS PRETTY PLEASE??! I know it just takes awhile but anything you found that speeds up the process?

The longest I’ve ever had it is just past my chest. Long hair to me is anything past shoulder length 🙂 Right now my hair is a few inches past my shoulders.

I like long hair. My hair is to my waist and I am in the process of trying to grow it out thicker. Some people look great with short hair though. I have never tried short hair on myself, too scared I guess. 😛

AdventureGirl- You basically just have to be lazy. Get your hair curled? No you’re not. Dyed? As if. Wash it every day? Too repetitive. Your hair ends up healthier if you don’t do many normal hair things. All of the things I listed to skip will only end up hurting your hair, either thinning it out and/or making it grow slower.

And I’ve heard (but never tried) that eating right (or just taking vitamins) will make your hair grow out healthier, and therefore faster.

And I have one more tip that seems extremely obvious, but bear with me:

Don’t get haircuts.

A lot of the time people will tell me, “I wish I could have hair like that, but I’m too impatient.” If you wanna change your hair, you can braid it or something. And if braids are too boring at the time (which I wouldn’t blame you for thinking, they do get old after awhile), look up some heatless ways to style your hair.

It takes time, but it gets there. 🙂

You can wash your hair in different stuff that helps it grow faster. I’ve heard of a lot of different things people do. I haven’t tried any of them yet, but am planning on it since I’m trying to grow mine out thicker. I am thinking about trying eggs or olive oil on mine. I guess we’ll see if it works. 🙂

I prefer long hair on myself because of my face shape (Also I don’t cut my hair). To me short hair is armpit length and up and long hair is midback length and down.

If you want to growing your hair thicker and longer , this may seem odd but use horsepower shampoo and conditioner. I have personally done in it and it’s worked really well for me. And my hair grows really slow. http://mobile.walmart.com/ip/Mane-n-Tail-Deep-Moisturizing-Shampoo-12-fl-oz/10293241

I have a buzz on the sides and back of my hair and about two inches on the top front part of my hair which I am trying to grow out longer. I just don’t think I look great with long hair.

Well, I had long hair (some may still call it long, it is layered and reaches a bit past my armpits) and since I am pretty short, it just kinda looked awkward on me. It was just an awkward length of not being long or short enough, and I couldn’t curl it anymore so I cut a few inches off. However, I want my hair like this and am considering growing it out. Long hair looks beautiful braided (short hair can look cute braided too), but is harder to curl, especially when your hair is twice the amount and thickness of everyone elses’.

Also, with puffy hair like me you have to straighten it no matter what length it is. I am considering getting a shorter cut to my shoulders, cause hair that length is SO CUTE! IDK, what do u all think?
