Hey Guys! I have seen alot of people’s views on gay marriage and I just wanted to trow mine out there. First off I believe homosexuality is wrong because in the Bible it clearly states that man is to united with his wife and that a women should be united to her husband. But I also believe that gay marriage shouldn’t be against the law. Many people say that we shouldn’t allow it because we shouldn’t let our brothers and sister fall into sin. But, God tells us what is right and wrong, but he still gives us a choice. Who are we to take away someone else’s choice? By doing so we are trying to take the place of God. What we need to do is change that person’s heart, otherwise the only thing they will feel towards us and God is hate.

I don’t know what I believe about the morality of homosexuality, but I agree that homosexual marriage should be legal. The only legitimate arguments against homosexuality are from a religious standpoint. But not everyone is a Christian. So the US can’t make homosexual marriage illegal without violating its citizens’ freedom of religion.

I 100% agree with May93. While the Bible says that homosexuality is wrong, it’s not up to us to take away someone else’s choice to do what they wish with their lives. Forcing Christian laws upon those who are not Christian will turn people away from God. It’s fine to have a polite discussion about it, but getting on a soapbox and screaming with hate does NOT emulate Jesus, and it dampens people’s views on religion because they will feel like their free will is being violated.

I agree. I think that we don’t have any right to enforce our morals on others, who don’t live by them. We should, however, unshamefully stick to our beliefs. Also I feel as though we should be an example, and act in a way which projects the love and caring acceptance.

Remember: He who has not sinned may cast the first stone. -Jesus

I agree with everyone who posted here. Because I’m a Christian I don’t believe homosexuality is how God made the relationships, yet I firmly believe that God gives us the right of choice every time without forcing us to do His will. So that means we also shouldn’t force other people to do God’s will, or what we believe God’s will is. Just pray for homosexual people that God puts on your heart so that the Lord will reveal Himself and the truth to them. That’s all you can do I believe.
