hi ive been been feeling worthless and everything lately and I could really use some prayer and advice. I feel like I cant talk to anyone about it and I need some help. ive heard all the “Oh God loves you and you were created by him!” stuff and I know what the bible says about my worth and I know somewhere in my heart that he loves me but…I just need some advice on things I can do to help me believe that I am beautiful not just on the outside but inside to…

The first step to get out of the rut is to decide that you want to dust off yourself and climb back in the saddle. I know this sounds harsh and I am so sorry, but you need to hear it. After making that conscious decision, each morning and night, write down three things you love about yourself, physically, emotional, or spiritually, and place it where you can see it. After writing down those things, look yourself in the eyes in the mirror and repeat to yourself three times, “I am a creation of God. I am a piece of God, I am a child of God.” )This sets your mind back onto a thinking path of God!) Another thing to do is to make sure you eat well and get exercise! I don’t mean you have to become a health and fitness addict, but that twice or three times a week you go for a walk or head to the gym. This time that you are focusing on your physical appearance you are able to appreciate yourself more because you can see how much work God put into you and how many things your wonderful body can do! By eating pretty healthy (go for those desserts still, but maybe cut back to three to four times a week) you are able to provide your body with the healthy nutrients your body and mind needs! At the beginning and end of each day, open your prayers by telling the Lord five things (or more) that he has blessed you with. This sets your mind to a positive vibe for the rest of the prayer, rather than a “me me me” attitude. *Make sure to find a great devotional bool that speaks to your heart as well! My last piece of advice is to know that God hears everything, whether you say it or not. I call these my”unspoken” needs. When you can’t accurately explain your feelings, just know that the Lord hears the cries of your heart and longs to comfort you (I call these my spiritual hugs). If you ever want to talk more just email me at mojo211@bellsouth.net. I hope this helped, remember that you are never alone in this fight against the world.
