I graduate soon but I really don’t want to leave my school 🙁 They set it up so next year I could still participate in the same clubs with my friends, but it still won’t be the same. I love just seeing people I know in the hallways and if a friendship comes naturally from that. Plus, there’s a boy a year younger who I’m almost positive he likes me: he stares and won’t look away and when he looks at me, it’s like we’re the only people in the room and like he understands me in a way no else does, or the most accepting person I’ve ever met. He makes me think of the “Thinking Out Loud” song. One time in gym, we did the pacer and later when he walked by me, he suddenly started talking and said how many he got loud enough so I could hear and one time when we both had plenty of room to walk, he bumped into me. Then the other day in the hall, I had the opportunity to walk with him but was too nervous to talk to him. It was encouraging tho that he didn’t move away or walk faster. It was like I was walking with a friend 🙂 What could I do better next time and how could I ask for his number? Also, did I come across mean by not talking to him? I heard a guy will walk slower to give you an opportunity to talk to him. Now I just wish I knew who he was at the very beginning of the year-same with a lot of people. I could probably have more of a variety of friends if I had noticed more people sooner. Can I just go back to the beginning of high school being more aware of people this time? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
