I’ve been having heaps of nightmares lately about evil things coming after me and trying to kill me. They scream and run at me and no matter where I hide, they find me. Blood is also very prominent in these dreams and I feel so terrified of them. I hate horror because it scares me so much. I hate going to sleep every night because I’m afraid of what will happen in my dreams. I don’t feel safe going to sleep even when I leave my lamp on. I’m always afraid that something’s going to crawl around the side of my bed and leap up and scream and scare the living daylights out of me. I’ve always wanted someone to sleep beside me so I feel safe and protected. I try to simulate this through putting a pillow on my back, but it doesn’t normally work. When I wake up and it’s dark, my fear only gets worse. I imagine spirits coming down the hallway to my room and appearing at my door and killing me. I need help . . . bad. Are there any remedies against nightmares? 🙁 please help me I don’t want to have nightmares frequently.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”– Deuteronomy 31:6
Hello Ch3ls.l ! Have no fear, If you begin to feel afraid, just remember that Jesus is with you no matter what or where you go. Just call that to mind and perhaps you could imagine Jesus there with you if that helps. Before you go to rest each night pray to God asking for His peace to be with you and command the demons that cause your nightmares to leave in Jesus’ name. Such things are spiritual, so they need a solution in the Spirit realm as compared to those through medications and other physical solutions. You have authority over such spirits because you are of Christ, and He has power over all.
Here’s a prayer that can help:
Don’t worry, God is always with you. He is strong enough to remove your nightmares.
Our heavenly Father, I pray that you will set this young lady free of whatever in the spirit causes her nightmares. You say in Your word that did not give this lady a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind, so I pray commanding those spirits to leave her in Jesus name. Lord give her peace in both her days and her nights. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
God bless you Ch3ls.l

Awe. This sounds horrible. 🙁 I’m so sorry. I would say prayer is your bff when you are really terrified. Do you have siblings that you can sleep in the same room with? Maybe a dog or a cat to sleep on your bed with you? Maybe you should try taking Melatonin to help you sleep better. Melatonin is an herb and you can find it at pretty much any health food store. Prayers going out for you tonight!
