Have any of y’all ever studied abroad or considered it? Where would you want to go?

My university has a tonnnnnn of study abroad options and I just want to do them all! Here’s my list, I can’t decide where I would want to go :O

South Africa

Also, what countries do you want to visit (aside from the one(s) you want to study abroad in) and what do you want to do/see there?

Here’s my list:

Scotland–I want to do this program called Run Across Scotland. Guys you literally get to run across Scotland isn’t that awesome!!!

Ireland–Bike Across Ireland

Africa–Volunteer somewhere, like Uganda

Switzerland–Skiing/see family history stuff

If I was in college, I’d love to study at Ireland. I’m part Irish and it would be AWESOME to go to where my ancestors lived (isn’t that amazing?!) I’ve heard it’s really beautiful, too. I might want to go to London briefly, then possibly Scotland. Even though I’m not scottish, there is something alluring to me about that culture.
And–even though this isn’t college, I’d love to start an orphanage or some kid’s program in Haiti. I’d love to teach kids about God and have a safe place for poor ones to go. 🙂

I would love to study abroad…I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. But my countries (or continents) are:

And I want to visit Germany and Sweden…just because, really.

I did a program in Spain for a few weeks this summer, and it was an absolutely AMAZING experience. I met some amazing people and really learned a lot. That has made me really want to study abroad once I get to college too. I’ve been looking into different programs that colleges offer, and I’m thinking/dreaming about:
-Jordan- I’m planning to study Arabic in college, and am interested in this dialect, so it would be cool for me. Provided that it remains safe to go there, of course…
-Rwanda- I never would have thought I would be interested in going to Rwanda, but I’ve seen that there are programs in that country focusing around genocide/post-genocide studies, and being really interested in human rights, this sounds really interesting to me.
Places I want to go:
-South eastern Europe- I don’t know, it just seems like a beautiful and unique region 🙂
-South Africa (but soooo far away!!)
-I’d go pretty much anywhere if I was given the chance 🙂

Nino~Oh Rwanda and Jordan sound amazing! I think it would incredible to volunteer at Zaatari, the refugee camp in Jordan, though I have no idea if they allow this.
I’d pretty much go anywhere too, ha! 🙂

AdventureGirl- I have some close friends who came through Jordan on their way from Syria to the US, so that country has a bit of a soft spot in my heart for that reason 🙂 I really want to eventually travel to that area and work to help refugees there in the future…someday 🙂
