Im 19 and I’m getting a neck beard and mustache. It’s so gross. It’s black and there’s a lot of it. I know shaving would make everything way worse and basically ruin my life (my mom shaves her face and it makes everything way worse, but now she can’t stop because she’s already shaved it so many times so she has no other choice.) I’m probably the only one on here who has experienced this, but I’m hoping someone else has who can give me some advice. Have any of you ladies had problems with this? Can I pluck it, or will that make it worse too? I pluck my eyebrows and they take a long time to grow back and don’t seem to be darker or coarser like shaving would do. Please help me! It’s so embarrassing.

Just shave it girl. We all have that problem. Your not alone. 🙂

Don’t shave it- it will definitely make it worse. I would suggest waxing- you don’t want to pluck. Your neck is thin-skinned, as is your upper lip. It would hurt really badly. Better to get it all done at once.

It’s no biggie, lots of women have facial hair, and when it’s dark it shows up. Just get it waxed like Loveoutloud said. It hurts, but it only takes a few minutes and isn’t expensive.

Definetly don’t shave it.

Shaving doesn’t make things “worse”. Normally, then ends of hairs are tapered. When you shave, it cuts the hair off, and now it has a blunt end, which is why hair LOOKS darker/thicker when it grows back. It’s really not, though.

I use an epilator sometimes. It’s basically electric tweezers.

Hmmm I would either say waxing or “Just shave it, shave it off….” ;D I shave my facial hair and it does grow back, but it doesn’t take that long and I just have to do it every few days.

Perhaps. But there are a number of ladies who do struggle with this.
So if they’re a troll, they were doing a terrible job. 😛

I don’t know know for sure, but somehow it just reminded me WAY too much of the “Being fat is a sin” person, who posted, got everyone to react to it, then deleted their account.

This could be a legit question, though. I just wasn’t sure

^But some people actually wonder that. I read a book that claimed it was a sin to be obese :/
