That’s wonderful that you feel called to adopt! 🙂 I have not been called to adopt, but I feel called to work on funding for adoption so that people who are called to adopt can adopt.

I’m not sure if I ever want to have children, but if I do, I’d like to adopt. Because 1. I really don’t ever want to be pregnant/give birth and 2. I’ve always cared about orphans.
Do you know what countries you’d want to adopt from, LivyLynn?

I personally believe you don’t have to receive a prophetic word from God in order to help children…there are plenty of Bible verses instructing us to help orphans. It’s not something we should wait to do until we’re told to. We should already be doing it.
