I am a college student living at home. I just started a job where I will be working nights. I am beginning to wonder when I will have time to do my homework and get everything done.Today, my mother informed me today that her best friend might be coming to stay with us for a few weeks. This wouldn’t be an issue if her best friend didn’t come with FIVE kids under the age of 13 and a dog. When they come, I am going to have to give up my bedroom and any privacy I may have. I am hoping that my friends will be moved into their apartments by then so I can go over for a nap. To do homework, I will probably find a coffee shop (other than the one I work in) or book store and just hunker down for a while and get it done. I am really feeling over loaded right now. Oy!

5 kids under the age 13 – you’re not kidding when you say overloaded. I mean, ya know, not just possibly overloaded. 🙂

The kids are great. I love them all. I just know that 10 credit hours, homework and studying (The school requires I study 2 hours for every hour I’m in the class room) , working from 10pm to 6am most days, all of my volunteer work and the kids will be a lot. Last year, they came the week before my midterms and they would not leave me alone. Finally, I just got to a point where I had to do my homework, write papers and study with the 2 year old in my lap and she got mad at me if I did anything without her. The baby will be 6 months old so maybe I can get him to sleep and then study while I hold him.
