As teenage girls begin to grow into young women of the Lord, Proverbs 31 is an important part of Scripture that is beneficial during the growth process. Go verse by verse and study what it is like to be a “God Fearing” Woman and what it means to be a girl and follow the Lord!
The Proverb 31 Woman starts with Proverbs 31:10-12, ” Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies. Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.” (NLT). This could mean that being virtuous and trustworthy are more important than looking good and having a flighty attitude. By bringing goodness to her husband, she brings goodness into the family creating a better home than a wife who would just complain, creating a more bitter family atmosphere. Doing all these things helps to enrich the relationship and home life, making a house a home in a sense. A woman that is honorable and virtuous with integrity then is considered more precious than rubies, which matches what God thinks of us, more precious than any jewel.
