Hi! So, you need to know my story before you try to help, cause it’s different than other people’s, haha!
Until 5th grade, I lived in the USA and went to church every weekend, the best Christian camp for a week every summer, and was really close to God, I guess, as much as I could be when I was that little. Then, when my family moved overseas to Caracas, Venezuela, I went to an international school. Not a lot of people there were Christians, and theere weren’t any good churches we could go to. Now, I have just moved to Moscow, Russia, and there’s a few good churches here. I just have really felt like I’vebeen drifting away from God these past few years at it was really hard to connect with him without a bible study, church to go to, and/or Christian friends in Caracas. I still go o my Christian camp evvery summer for a week, and in that week it feels so amazing to connect with Him again.
My point is, how can I become closer to Him again? What’s the best way that I can get to know and love Him again like I used to? It’s just really hard overseas compared to the US, and I don’t know how I can stay connected and in a relationship with him on my own, when I don’t really have anything around me to help me with that. (if that makes sense).
Any suggestions would REALLY help. Thank you!xo

I think any relationship will have its ebb and flow, so yes, it will feel like you drifted sometimes. Just turn to God. Make sure you pray a lot. Read the Bible, and put it into practice (Reading the Bible often and practicing what I read is something I struggle with.) Try a Devo. Be careful, if you catch yourself slipping, repent. I love you!

We all fail sometimes and get lost. Just know it is never too late to go back to where you were. God loves you and wants to get to know you take the first step. Read your bible and make him a part of your everyday life and don’t let anything get in the way of you getting closer to God. He cares. Strongs
