So I have been single for 4 months and I’m ready to be back in a relationship. However, the men in my life that have piqued my interest are not interested in being anything more than friends or they are someone I could never date due to their past relationships. I am really unsure about what to do or how to make someone see that there is a lot of potential for us as a couple. Any advice is helpful!

I’m not sure if this is much of anything, but I would recommend bettering yourself as a person. For example, I struggle with laziness and I know this would get in the way of my future relationship and/or family. Also, things like stubbornness, pride, insecurities, poor finances, etc could cause potential problems. Pray about it and keep working on yourself while you’re waiting (:

I think there are a lof ot nice devotionals out there for preparing for a relationship 🙂 And also how to deal with baggage from past relationships (yours or your partners’). For example, I’m currently reading “The Old Fashioned Way” and am going to read “The New Rules for Love, Sex and Dating”.

How to show someone there’s potential… I would say, being a great friend for them 🙂
