So I was watching a Blimeycow video on YouTube and I have heard that the book in the bible Song if Solomon can be quite.. risqué. I haven’t read it yet but don’t know if it’s age apropriete. I’m fourteen, and though I am not incredibly niave I don’t want to read anything risqué. Should I? It’s they bible, how bad can it be? (I understand that the Bible is not all rainbows and unicorns but I don’t think it’s pornigraphic or anything..)

I honestly don’t think it was pornographic.

It may make you blush a bit, but it’s not that bad. It is a description of the feelings between a couple, so it is sexual, but it isn’t dirty or graphic.

It’s actually a model of how God wants us to have our marriage set after and I believe it’s a good way to see an example relationship. Even before we are ready to get married. (:

Didn’t seem dangerous to me at all when I read it… then again, I couldn’t understand a word I was reading. (King James Version by the way)
