hi. let me cut to the chase. i had an experience last year. i had been getting moody and irritable rather often, but then i became really ill. was dizzy, light headed, nauseated, and fainted frequently. finally went to the hospital when i couldn’t handle it anymore. was diagnosed as a cardiac arrhythmia.took neds foe longee than i had ever. its til now i realized that it was all stress-related. and i was having insomnia (sleep was my BFF and now i cnt even have that comfort) . i just really need help with handling stress. my life seems like such a mess. almost fainted in town today, then was at the verge of breaking down in tears coz everything was just soo crazy and disorganized and everything was just going wrong. i honestly felt like just giving up.

It sounds like you have some very extreme stress. You should really look at what is causing it and trying to find a way to minimize it or eliminate it. If that isn’t possible, I would first say that you should make sure that you are getting the sleep you need by eliminating caffiene, and maybe taking some melanin supplements to help with your insomnia. Melanin is a natural hormone so it isn’t the same as taking a medication, do try to keep from becoming dependent on it though. Another way to relieve stress and help you sleep at the same time is exercise. Exercise, especially cardio helps me a lot with stress. I like to swim but it doesn’t matter what you do, just find something you enjoy and try to fit just 30 minutes in a day.

If you are that stressed out that you are having severe physical symptoms I would highly recommend seeking therapy. Yes, there are things you can do on your own, like the things Amelia mentioned, but ultimately its like putting a bandaid on the greater issues.

wow. thanks you guys. i’ll give the exercise a try and cut off caffeine. the melatonin however…dont think i can keep myself from getting dependant. so best i avoid it all together. thanks Amelia. as for therapy, cool. i have never met with a therapist before. would like to though. not a common profession where i am so might not be so easy to get hold of one. but thank you Mandi.

PROGRESS REPORT
i cut off quite a number of activities(devil’s tryna make me feel guilty about it. but it wont work) and my bf and i are taking up exercising (i promised to get fit and he promised to get ripped. lol. just for kicks but its keeping us healthy. not intense workouts for me though. ) im still a coffee junkie but i will cut that off…except when its needed i guess. and generally, just chose to be happy and not worry so much about stuff i cant control. like after watching War Room, i got to know that alota stuff isnt actually my job to do or stress about. ill leave it all to God.
