Okay, so I’m curious to know if anyone on here has read The Maze Runner series? Is it a good series? Is it a CLEAN series?

I see a lot of it on Pinterest, and I saw the books at a store where I live, (I didn’t really have time to take a good look at the books) but not sure if it’s a series worth reading.
Thanks girls!

I liked it a lot, but it seems to be either hit or miss for most people. You should check it out 🙂 It’s clean

OOOH! ME!! *Hand flies into the air*
It depends what you define as clean. There are some violent bits, and some parts are a little gory, but I loved it. There’s nothing super descriptive in the gory parts, no sex, and they use their own slang, so there’s no cursing.

Okay, I can handle all the violence stuff 🙂

I’ll have to check them out when I get the chance. (Right now I’m kinda broke from Christmas shopping)

To be honest, I couldn’t finish the book. I just wasn’t a fan of Dashner’s writing style and I didn’t connect with the characters, but that’s just me. Like spyder said, it’s really a hit or miss for most people so you may love it or not. It is a very interesting story though 🙂

I liked the characters a lot more than I liked Dashner’s writing style. Which means that this was one of those shot in the dark instances where I liked the movie better. Because Newt, Minho and Thomas and Chuck are all darlings who I cared about a lot in the book, but the prose bugged me. So, film with no prose made it lovely. However, imo, the story and characters–who are funny, brilliant survivalists with a really touching cameraderies–are both great. It’s just that Dashner sucks at writing and the fake slang is a little cheesy.

Okay, well I guess I’ll find out for myself if I like them or not. I bought the books today 😛

LOVE them!! Although I think that it could’ve been summed up in less than 3 books. But yeah they are clean. 🙂
