Everyone seems to want date when its most popular, not when it’s best. I’m slowly(but surely) coming to terms with the fact that waiting to date is truly God’s will for my life at this time.

I need help getting my friend to understand that waiting to date is worth it. She has self esteem and depression issues and the only time I see her happy is when she’s with a guy. She just moved out and her parents want her to wait and focus on college (Also they don’t approve of the guy because he is 27 and has had some problems with the law.). Now the two families don’t speak anymore and she’s saying that its her fault because she thinks that her parents don’t want her to be happy and that if she doesn’t date this guy right now that she’s never going to have a chance with him ever again. Her brother and I have run out of things to help her understand. We both want her to be happy even when she’s by herself. She hasn’t spoken to me since I tried to tell her what thought. I really need some advice!!!

That is so great! I have found to appreciate waiting on God too! In fact, I just started a blog called Until It Desires. The blog is about waiting to awaken love. I think you would like it! untilitdesires.wordpress.com
