Why does life in middleschool seem so tough sometimes I mean I love my life and I love my friends I just wish that sometimes that I wasn’t the person that I have been lately I mean I feel like I pushing everyone away and I just feel lost right now I am a student leader at my church and well right now it is really hard to focus with what is important instead of the pain that I feel inside I just feel really helpless and a lone because I keep pushing people away I am a great kid and everything and sometimes i get picked on and it just doesn’t feel like this is going to end.I have amazing friends but life just seems kind of like a rollarcoaster now and I have no way of stopping it I have a great support system and I am thankful for that.I just kind of needed to get that off of my chest and maybe some of you girls could give me advice on how to open up? I would really apreciate any advice I could get right now. Thanks

Well I’m in middle school right now too, and I’m homeschooled so I don’t know what it’s like going to public school. I do know that being a teenager is probably the worst thing ever. My mom say’s she wouldn’t be thirteen again for a thousand dollars. My advice to you is don’t try to hard this is just a phase and your parents most likely went through something like this as well if not exactly this. Maybe ask your mom or someone you trust how they dealt with middle school. Good luck and God bless <3.

Hey godisamazing, my advise on trying to get through this point in your life would be getting connected with some of your close friends or a small group at your church that you are able to be open with. Having this “support group” will be a great outlet for you to comfortably lay your obstacles out on the table. These people you surround yourself with can help you through your walk with Christ as you all grow to love one another and understand each others struggles. Overall, the most important thing to do is dig into God’s word and PRAY PRAY PRAY(by yourself, with a friend, or with a group). Know that if God is for you then no one can be against you just trust in the Lord<3

Middle school sucked. But guess what? I’m a junior right now and I’m loving life. It stops sucking after middle school, trust me 🙂 I realized that confidence is key to loving life, so try to just venture outside your comfort zone once in a while: speak up in class, talk to someone new, wear a loud pair of shoes, do something slightly out of the ordinary! Soon you’ll be like me and be able to shout in a completely silenced crowd 😛 Ask God for confidence in everything you do, and soon, things will just fall into place. Good luck and God bless <3

Dearest godisamazing,
Middle School sucks. I’m just going to say that right now. My middle school career wasn’t the best… but ya know why? It’s because I tried to change myself. I tried to go off and do my own thing. When my eighth grade year rolled around, I realized that I barely knew myself anymore. All my elementary friends had gone off and joined other crowds. I felt alone. I thought I had done something to cause these people to leave me… people I loved! So understand this please, I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL GIRL! <3 I've been there. I'm a junior in high school right now, and looking back on everything that happened in MS, I've realized God used those things to make me who I am TODAY. I'm an extremely outgoing person, and through losing some friendships, I gained some of the best friends I could ask for. God knows what He's doing. Sometimes, life has to be hard to turn out beautiful in the end. I'm praying for you, and I hope you will let God be the light of your life always. 🙂
