So, I recently moved across the country. Right after I had left, a boy from my old school texted me and told me that he had always liked me because he saw that I was different and my love for the Lord was so evident. What he said encouraged me greatly so we started talking more. And I developed feelings for him. But now I feel like he doesn’t want to talk to me and doesn’t have feelings for me anymore, and I cannot seem to stop thinking about him or give up my feelings for him. What do I do?

Hi! I know what it feels like to move, I have moved ten times so far. lol. Anyway, this guy sounds like a great guy and a really great friend. Are you guys really close? Because if so, maybe you could ask him about it? but if not, then maybe you wouldn’t feel as comfortable doing that. Basically, though, whatever happens, you guys do live far from each other now. It is really great if you guys end up being able to remain friends and talk a lot. But a long-distance relationship could be difficult. My point is, God knows what His plan is, and He has you both where He wants you guys. And whatever happens is for the best. If God means for you two to be in a relationship, it will happen. Just, I would maybe just try to maintain a friendship with him, one built on Christ. Maybe that is where God wants you guys right now. just pray about it and trust in His plan 🙂

Try not to overthink things. If you’re close then just tell him how you feel like he doesn’t want to talk. He sounds great, it’s awesome that he saw God in you and encourages your faith!!! If your not close just try contacting him and give him a chance to reply. If it’s meant to be it will be. I know that being patient is tough and long distance relationships and friendships are straining, hang in there!!!
