Hello everyone! This topic is dedicated to you and you alone. I want to hear your story. I want to hear how you met God. I want to hear your ups, downs, victories, and losses. I want to hear where you are now in your relationship with God, and what had to happen to get you there.

Oh and I suppose I could always start this out with MY story… but what’s the fun in that? 🙂 I would rather hear from others.

Oh I love these kinds of topics 🙂 I can’t wait to see what the others reply.
So I was raised in a non-religious family (not atheists, but not adhering specifically to any belief system). I, on the other hand, was a militant atheist when I was a kid ,:D When I was 13, I spent the summer with my uncle’s family. My uncle is a priest. It was quite culture shock, I must say 😀 It was a summer of lots of deep contemplation and learning; out of my own curiosity, I began doing research and asking lots of questions. I began the summer as a militant atheist, and came out of it as someone with a bit of faith…over the past few years, I’ve made slow but steady progress in my faith. When my faith falters, I remind myself of the beauty and devotion that had drawn me into the faith, and then I am reassured that I am taking the right path. In the past couple of years, my family has been through some hard times…I honestly don’t know how I could have gotten through the hardest days if I did not have faith–so I suppose it came and rescued me just in time :,)
Just a little bit of my story 🙂

So, I was raised in a very christian household. I went to church constantly from then I was a baby to around 11ish, i think. Our church then moved and it got to expensive so we tried other churches but it just didn’t work. So now we only go on occasion.

I’m kind of in the middle of my story right now 😛 So much has happened in the past and is happening right now I just can’t really put it all into a neat story.
If I had to sum it up though, here you go: 😛

Aww guys thank you for sharing! No matter what your story is, or where you’re at, God is making your story beautiful because HE is writing it. Don’t ever forget He knows exactly what He is doing.
