“Mary, Did You Know?” –Who Sings it Best! Scotty McCreery or Rascall Flatts?

scotty-Mccreery-Christmas

“Mary, Did You Know?” is one of my all time favorite songs, and I’m so excited that Scotty McCreery offers his own rendition on his Christmas album, “Christmas with Scotty McCreery.”

And with McCreery’s amazing voice, this is one of the best versions of the song I’ve heard –besides Rascall Flatts, of course!

Take a listen!

Okay! I couldn’t help myself. I have Rascall Flatts singing “Mary, Did You Know?” live at the CMAs last year.

So? Who do you think sings it best…or are you going to confuse things a little more and tell me of a version that by far surpasses these two renditions?

I agree! Cee lo’s version is beautiful! I know that he is a secular artist, but his rendition of the song is too amazing to overlook!

Sorry, but my vote goes to Clay Aiken. Best version I have ever heard. Definitely worth looking up.

I’ve never heard of either, but when I listened to these songs, I was like, “woah.” I think between the two, I would pick Scotty McCreery, only because he did such a good job for being so young (and he’s cuter ;), but the Rascal flats version was good too!

I like them both. They both are different in its on way. I liked Rascall Flatt’s a little better because that is the one I have heard so many times, but Scotty McCreery’s is kind of cool also.

Scotty, of the two, without even listening…but my favorite version is Lea Salonga–the singing voice of Princess Jasmine. I LOVE her version. Scotty or maybe the original Mark Lowry come next.

Ok funny story. I’m totally not up on all of the new singers now adays so when I saw Scotty McCreery I thought he would sound like Clay Aiken or more pop sounding. Big shock to me when I just saw this youtube video and he has a really deep country twang to his voice. Totally did not expect that voice to come out of his mouth. Lol :)

I think Scotty’s deep voice just works better with this song because it does have a low note range.

My favorite version is actually Clay Aiken’s, but they are all amazing versions of an amazing song!

I love this song. I’m a bit biased against Scotty so I have to go with rascall flats if its between them. But I really like the version that Jeremy Camp does. Check that one out.
