Hi girls! Pastor Stephen found me on Project Inspired through one of my interviews on TV and I am so happy he did! He shared his message and story with me and what he’s doing to help the poor kids in Malawi, Africa. Here are some pictures he sent–he is the one in the nice suit. Please pray for him and leave comments because he will be reading! This is his letter to you all:
Beloved in Christ,
I am glad to visit you again thru this email, the Lord is with us here as He is with you there as well, there are so many things taking place these days all around us pointing to the fact that the Lord is coming so soon. Yes, we don’t know the hour nor the day but the day of the Lord is approaching and my greatest desire on this earth is to take the Gospel to the unsaved to show them the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ; there are yet many who don’t know the Lord as their Lord and Savior and thank the Lord that we are able to share the gospel with them and we are seeing the Lord adding to the church. Amen.
I have been busy lately teaching at a school of ministry Fridays and visiting churches each weekend and Sundays wherever we go we see the Lord moving in great power as the people are getting saved and some being healed by the power of the Lord. Last weekend I did call most pastors and leaders from one section of the district and we had a good time all day–sharing and hearing testimonies and teachings. The Lord is doing great things among the people as we heard these stories and testimonies from pastors and leaders, some did walk about 23 miles to attend this meeting and some came by bikes and traveled 38 miles away from the place where we had this gathering to the Lord be all the glory a great hunger in the hearts of these men and women. We did pray and cry together we had a great time and we will have another time like this next month end, and we do expect many pastors and leaders to attend. Keep us in prayer.
Friday I will be at school of ministry teaching students. The Lord is blessing us, as we are seeing more students being added to the school of ministry, thank God.
This coming weekend, Sunday April 29th, we will be going to Mozambique 15 miles from the border inside the country and we will be holding a revival meeting. We will be there all day and will be home very late in the evening so I ask you to pray for us that the Lord will provide for this trip. We will need more gas and more food to share with the people there, pray too that the Lord will protect us as we travel into Mozambique, there is a great hunger in that nation as well. Last time we held meetings there the Lord did great things among the people and people there, they can stay the whole day hearing or listening to the word of the Lord–you have to tell them now it is time to go out for break, thank the Lord.
This is all for now, the Lord bless you real good. Thanks so very very much for standing with us in the work of the Lord. I do appreciate you so much, we keep you in our prayers.
As always we love to hear from you and thanks for keeping in touch with me.
In His Service,
Jesus is alive forever more.
*Note from Nicole: I love these powerful scriptures concerning helping the poor.*
When you help the poor you are lending to the Lord–and he pays wonderful interest on your loan! (Prov. 19:17)
Anyone who oppresses the poor is insulting God who made them. To help the poor is to honor God (Prov. 14:31).
If you give to the poor, your needs will be supplied! But a curse upon those who close their eyes to poverty (Prov. 28:27).
Tell those who are rich not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which will soon be gone, but their pride and trust should be in the living God who always richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and should give happily to those in need, always being ready to share with others whatever God has given them. By doing this they will be storing up real treasure for themselves in heaven–it is the only safe investment for eternity! And they will be living a fruitful Christian life down here as well (1 Tim. 6:17-19).
