La Roux’s “Bulletproof”

The Bravery’s “Fearless”

For me, it’s hard to listen to songs I enjoy that have lyrics, because once I listen to them, next thing I know I’m singing along. xD That is hard to do while studying! So I actually listen to classical music sometimes while studying. =]

Well I kinda fell in love with “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars, but the one negative thing about this song is that he describes her laugh as “sexy”. So I listen to the Anthem Lights cover of it! They have amazing harmonies and voices overall!

I like Taylor Swift…all of her songs are inspiring and fun to sing!!! TobyMac is another one of my faves!! Super awesome! Another thing I like to do is just listen to a soundtrack from my fave movies! For instance,I’ll listen to Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean etc. No words to distract but a nice background sound. Besides the songs are so catchy!!!! And mostly any catchy Christian song I’ll catch and listen to!!! Hope this helps!! 😉

I’ve never been a huge MJ fan, but his song “Will You Be There” is one I love! Bee Gees make me laugh a little. =D They sound like little kids on helium, but I really like listening to them too! LOL “You Should Be Dancing” is a fun song.
Oh, and I can’t understand the words at ALL but I love the spanish band Camila. “mientes” is an awesome song…I just don’t know what it means. =D

Will You Be There is aaamaaazing.!! He always said that he hated taking credit for writing that sing because he didn’t write it, God did, he was just the vessel it came through. 🙂 favorite line “But they old me, I was meant to be faithful and walk when not able. And fight to the end but I’m only human.” I used to listen to him so much, but thank God I don’t that much anymore.. Will You Be There and a few others is about it. The rest Christian music. My, I don’t sound like my personality at all in this comment. Lol 🙂

  22. Posted by on April 2, 2011 at 21:34

Grenade is a fun song to sing melodramatically to a close friend or sister…but when i want to focus i usually like to stick to The Classic Crime…they are a christian band but they dont go by “christian” because they want their music to touch all people. If you haven’t heard of them look them up on youtube and listen to “Abracadavers” just an upbeat song with INSANELY good lyrics!!!! or “Broken Mess” SOOO INSPIRING!!!!
