This picture is of my twin and I. We don’t even own any makeup! But a lot lately I’ve felt like I should…..I know it’s not necessary, but well, everyone else does it! yep, peer pressure. Even my two older sisters wear it! So I struggle sometimes with feeling like I’m not good enough since I don’t wear it. Thankfully God has really shown me that true worth is not seen in the world’s standards! I still struggle sometimes, but my twin, who is very steadfast { } helps me see the truth about beauty. I also have found that reading the Psalms encourages the desire to be beautiful inwardly! Especially the ones where the writer describes us as like a princess and how pretty we are to God because of our character qualities. I love those.

Maybe I’ll wear makeup someday, but for now, as I grow closer to God, it would just be a hindrance!
