Quiz: How Well Do You Know the Miracles of Jesus?

TAGS: , , ,

Miracles were a regular part of Jesus’ ministry and are still a big part of our walk with Christ today. It’s important for us to know the miracles that Jesus performed–in John 14, Jesus tells us that those who believe in Him will not only do the same, but we’ll do even greater things! Don’t you want to know the things Jesus says you’re capable of with His spirit? I do!

How well do you know the miracles of Jesus? Answer these questions and find out!

  1. In Matthew 9, a woman with a bleeding issue is healed by Jesus. How was she healed?
  2. Where did Jesus perform His first miracle? (John 2)
  3. This tree produced no fruit, so Jesus cursed it and it withered and died. What kind of tree was it? (Matthew 21)
  4. Jesus caused this apostle to walk on water. Who was it? (Matthew 14)

  8. In Luke 17, Jesus heals 10 lepers. How many came back to thank Him?
  9. What brother of Mary and Martha did Jesus raise from the dead? (John 11)
  10. What miracle in Jesus’ life is mentioned most often in the New Testament?

Don’t look until you’ve finished!

Answers:

  1. She touched the hem of His robe (Matthew 9:20-22)
  2. Cana (John 2:1-11)
  3. Fig tree (Matthew 21:17-20)
  4. Peter (Matthew 14:28-31)
  5. Widow of Nain (Luke 7:11-15)
  6. He turned water into wine (John 2:1-11)
  7. Five (Matthew 14:15-21)
  8. One (Luke 17:11-19)
  9. Lazarus (John 11)
  10. His resurrection!

How many did you get right?

If you got fewer than 5 correct, I suggest making time to read the Gospels–I recommend Mark or Luke! There are just so many amazing things that Jesus did; don’t miss out on really getting to know your Savior!

If you got 5-9 correct, good job! You have a handle on Jesus’ miracles, but you never can get enough of Jesus, so keep reading!

If you got all 10 correct, congratulations! You know the miracles of Jesus in detail. As your next step, I suggest studying Jesus’ sayings so you know them as well as you know His miracles!

PI girls, what do you think was Jesus’ coolest miracle?

Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13).

It isn’t necessarily a miracle, but I loved how just after his resurrection, Jesus was in multiple places at once. To me, that just shows His almighty power. :D
