  4. Read some soothing scriptures- God cares so much about you, if you read some inspiring scriptures, it will help you feel more at ease. I like this one:  2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
  5. Watch your favorite movie! One of my favorites is Zoolander. It cracks me up!

Whenever I’m stressed out, I read some scriptures in the Bible about rest. My favorite is Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” It helps me to remember that God is in control whatever what situation I am facing. :)

Music is always a wonderful way to ease stress and relax! Drawing/reading is also fun. If you play an instrument, that is also a great way to relax!

The things that really relief my stress are those that actually have to do some physical work but really mentally.

Organizing things is the one thing that i really, really agree on.
I’m usually excited for Library Aide class in my school because all you really do is organize
books in certain ways and even though it’s quite some work physically, mentally it is really
relaxing because it takes my mind off something.

I listen to any kind of Christian music. Classical isn’t my thing, but acoustic guitars to me are the epitome of relaxation! I love tea and naps. Reading a good book is a really good way to relax too! This probably isn’t the best, but I eat a PB&J sandwich after school to help me feel not so hungry and cranky. :)

When school and life just bogs me down sometimes when I get home I eat my favorite dessert, throw on K-love on my laptop and after snacking I’ll read. This makes me feel happy, refreshed, and intellectual. Life does get hard to deal with, especially High School, but through Christ we’re equipped mentally to handle and conquer anything!
