We All Feel Sad Occasionally, But What You Need to Hear is Encouragement!

Encouragement is something everyone needs, no matter who you are. If you’re feeling down or less than confident, a little encouragement never hurts.

Every girl out there needs to be reminded of this — you are SO beautiful. You may ask, “How, and why?” Well, the answer is simple: Because you’re fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. He created you the way He thought you should be created. Remember: He makes no mistakes. So when you’re feeling like something’s wrong with you, either on the inside or the outside, just remember that you were created and forged in the way He wanted, and you should be thankful for how He made you. He carefully designed you. Embrace it, girl!

1 Samuel 16:7 – “The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

I love this verse so much because it’s so true! Of course, outer beauty is sort of important, but inner beauty surpasses it by miles! Who cares if you’re not as pretty as the star cheerleader? Or, if you’re not as skinny as that supermodel? If you DO care about those things, I would just like to give you this advice: Don’t worry about what other people think about you. God is the one who’s gonna judge you and he’ll judge you by your ACTIONS and whether your heart is right with Him — not by your looks or any outward appearance.

It truly doesn’t matter what people think about you. It only matters what He says and thinks. Like I said, He made you nearly perfect in His eyes, and nothing can change His opinion of that. You are His beautiful daughter, His princess. His treasured jewel.

This is very encouraging! Whenever we become depressed over our outer apearances, it is important to know that we are created in God’s images. I’ve known this, but many times I become depressed over my horrible eye-sight, and my genetically terrible teeth 😛 Then i remember, once we get to Heaven… I’ll be completely healed and healthy 😀 Whenever i become depressed over parts of my appearance that are impossible for me or anyone else to prevent, I remember that God is in control and that He’ll take care of it; and if not on Earth, then in Heaven where we will spend ETERNAL life with Our Father <3
We need to be greatful for all that we HAVE and not what we don't have. God knows best and will always be there for us <3

You’re right that’s exactly what a girl needs to hear when we’re sad, though we don’t always hear it-it’s true.

Thank you so much Nicole it seems like everytime I look in the mirror I see a bunch of flaws on my looks. I want to say I feel confident and beautiful about my weight and looks but I really am not it’s hard for me to feel good enough. Then I realized that I don’t want people to like me and notice me from the outside I want them to love who I am. Best part is God thinks I’m so beautiful inside and out and loves me more than any man will ever love me. And my faith and relationship with God is what makes me beautiful and confident:) This reminds me of one of my favorite songs Beautiful by Bethany Dillon if you haven’t heard of it I suggest you check it out Nicole! I know you’ll love it!

So many times, I feel sad, and feel like I’m not good enough for anybody around me. Basically, I feel like I’m worthless. But, I know that God doesn’t think I’m worthless, even in the times when I think that He is the only One who thinks that. Thanks for putting this up, Nicole!

Thank you so much for the article! You guys don’t know how discusting I feel. My self-esteem is low and I am worthless. Satan is constantly telling me to kill myself becuase no one cares about me. I really needed this. Thanks a million!

the devil is trying to attack you forcefully you know why? Because God has anointed you with His power, and the Devil knows you are going to do great works for the Lord and show thousands of people His love! When Satan talks to you and fills your heart with sadness, emptiness and feelings of being worthless, It is very important to say this scripture: “With the power of the Lord in me, and in the name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke you demon!!!” The demons tremble and leave at the name of Jesus Christ.

when it comes to the Devil, words are sort of like bullets or death rays or something and they just blast the Devil! Every word just zaps him! They’re part of our offensive weaponry, the Word! It describes the armour of a Christian–it says the sword of the Spirit is the Word!–Eph.6:10-17. It’s sharper than any two-edged sword.–Heb.4:12.

“Words are real things”, and you need to say them. Words can curse or words can save. “By thy words art thou justified or by thy words thou art condemned!”–Mat.12:36,37. You have to give an account of your words. Put on the armour of God, and use his powerful words to get rid of Satan and his demons!
