Written by Project Inspired | July 9, 2013
While music festivals can be a super fun way to catch several of your favorite acts in one epic day (or often, weekend), it may be harder to find a festival that matches up with all of your tastes and values. That’s why we’re so excited to share the Spirit West Coast festival with you!
The annual Christian music fest is headed to Monterey, California on August 1-3, and they’ve got an awesome lineup in store for anyone who can make it out for the weekend.
For those unfamiliar with the fest, we’ll let their website explain what it’s all about:
The Spirit West Coast festival is the largest and only multiple-day Christian music festival in the southwestern United States. The festival ranks as one of the premier Christian music festivals in the country, drawing fans from many states…Spirit West Coast features concerts by many of the top artists in the encouraging genre of Christian music. Beyond the music, the event features contemporary Bible and life application teaching by well-known and gifted speakers, action activities for all ages, camping, action sports and games, shopping and various activities, all in a county fair atmosphere. Well over 50 artists appear at each festival, presenting a wide variety of music styles on anywhere from 6-8 performance stages.
So who is on board for this year’s festival? Newsboys, Tenth Avenue North, Jeremy Camp, Matthew West, The City Harmonic, Manafest, Jamie Grace, for KING & COUNTRY, Press Play, Lakeshore and Of Eyes That See…and that’s just to name half of them! Check out the full lineup on the official Spirit Festival website. You can also find a list of all of the speakers, along with a daily breakdown of how each day of the fest will play out.
