This is myself without makeup!! I usually never EVER wear makeup but on special occasions I might apply some. I, unlike most girls, really dislike wearing makeup!! In this culture it pushes at girls young and old that they have to wear makeup to look and feel beautiful and to get noticed by guys!!I was slowly falling into the dangerous trap. I was feeling ugly,unattractive and that i would never find a guy who loves me for me!! This week while I was on a church retreat I was feeling very insecure as usual and one of the guy college interns said something that really stood out to me. At this camp we were required to wear one piece bathing suits and dress modestly. He said “At first It was really weird to see girls wearing one piece swim suits and dress modestly,but to be honest I actually PREFER it! Makeup and wearing revealing clothing isn’t as attractive as a girl who loves the lord with her whole heart,respects herself, wears little to no makeup and dresses modestly!!” Wow is all I could say!! This is what a great Christian guy that we are all searching for REALLY thinks!! I feel like god made me hear this truth for a reason, I AM BEAUTIFUL, I AM LOVED, I AM SACRED, I AM HOLY, I AM SAVING THE PERFECT MAN JUST FOR YOU AND I AM HIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Girls,you are beautiful on the outside but true Beaty comes from the inside!! You are beautifully and wonderfully made.I hope this impacts you like it impacted me!! I love you all beautiful girls!!!
