You’ve Got to Listen to This Moving Song by Carrie Underwood!

TAGS: , ,

I love this song! She is such a talented singer with an angelic voice. I’ve already mentioned how I’m a fan of her music, but more importantly I’m a fan of the fact that she speaks out about her faith in God. She’s so ambitious and confident, because she sang this song in” sin city” Las Vegas! I know she moved thousands (even millions!) of people who watched this performance, and she most likely saved many souls by singing about Christ! Listen to it and let me know what you think!

  17. well we all gotta keep in mind, that just because a star sings a Christian song, doesn’t mean, they’re singing the song for the same reasons we think they are, what stars should do is say to themselves, that I do this in the name of Jesus Christ, and you should be able to see Jesus all through them, because their’s also the stars who put on a “show” for the world, to make it look like they’re a spiritual person, but it can’t just be for occassions, we gotta see it through other times too, because, Christians, are not loved and likeable ppl, they’re hated, because Christians do things that Jesus wants them to do, they hated Jesus, and they’ll hate you too! But it won’t matter, because we’ll always be loved by God, and we have to go through these hard times, so that we can be stronger Christians, and oh how wonderful it’s going to be in Heaven, being with our heavenly father, and him saying, “well done my good and faithful servant” it beats everything! So don’t let a good voice fool you… look at Katy perry for example, who would’ve thought if we were still back then when she sang christian songs, will sing years from then “i kissed a girl and i liked it” u never know, so be cautious, but she did a good job at singing that song, it’s very nice!

    • you are so 100% right!! we need to be spiritually aware and discerning.

  18. I watched this when it happened!!! and if you look at the video where he sings Jesus Take The Wheel, shes raising her hands :D now imma big fan of her music (they have this song on iTunes when she did it at the Grand Ole Opry…its not as moving as this performance, but is still amazing!) U never see her in the headlines either!!!!! the only time i saw her on a magazing was when she got married…(: <3 her!!

  20. Hi Nicole!!! I was the one who emailed this to you! I’m glad you received it! and you’re right, Carrie is an inspiration to all because you can really tell she loves God! I hope she doesn’t change!

    • yes you were! thank you so, so much Justine! See- I really read all my girls emails!

  21. I am a devoted fan of Carrie and have been since I was 11 years old. There was something about her (besides her amazing vocals) that just called to me–maybe her girl next door image or her shyness and the fact that she was so sweet—NOT fake at all. I am so proud to be a fan and to know that she was not afraid to show her faith and sing this song in a city well known for gambling, etc……..Now millions have viewed this video and love it as I do. My parents and especially my grandparents listen to this song every day . They say it gives them strength. I wonder how many artists would have dared to sing this song on National television? I suspect not many–if any—-

    • that’s so cool you’ve been a fan of hers since you were 11! I can see why!

  22. This is one of the most powerful performance I’ve ever seen in my ENTIRE life. The emotion, the power, the magic, the confidence in Carrie Underwood’s voice is unbelievable! Her voice is truly a Work of Art. How Great is Carrie Underwood T___T? Will always be a fan! :)

hope y'all be inspired by it!

    • Justine, you listen to some really good music. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard “Go Rest High On That Mountain”, “Jesus Take The Wheel”, “Long Black Train”, or “Three Wooden Crosses” played on the radio at the house, but it happens a lot.. “Go Rest High On That Mountain” is a truely amazing song.. It was my grandpa’s favorite.. :)

  27. we sing this song at my church i love it!

  28. I’ve always loved Carrie. (: She seems like one of the celeb’s that would actually be a good friend. (=

  29. that is so amzing thank you so much for it

  30. i’ve always really liked carrie i think God is REALLY using her!!!!! Jesus take the wheel is awesome too, as some girls have already said!!! i am amazed how God can use someone’s natural talent to inspire millions!!!

  31. that was beautiful!!!!!! wow she CAN SING!!!!! i also saw blake from “the voice” and his wife miranda in the audience, and i love both of them too!!!!! :)

  32. I used to listen to country music and she was one of my favorite artists of all time. I have her first two CDs (collecting dust somewhere) and used to listen to them constantly. I love that she expresses her faith as shown above, but what concerns me is that she’ll sing a praise song like ‘How Great Thou Art”, then turn around and sing “Last Name”. Just another example of how the music industry can hurt artists with the potential to lead souls to Christ, I think. Believe me, I have nothing against Carrie, but I would like to know if anyone else has noticed this?

  33. Wow! Praise God!, It’s great that she is standing up for the Lord.

  34. I love Carrie!

  35. I loved it. It was so beautiful.

  36. This was my grandma’s absolute favorite song, and I remember her coming over every Friday for family Hymn night, we’d always sing this song. She went to live with Jesus three years ago, and I can never listen to this song without crying. I love my granma so much, and I’m so glad that she is with the lord. They probably sing this song together every Friday <3

    • Kaitlyn this just brought tears to my eyes! :-) You are so sweet and special. She IS listening to this song in Heaven!
