10 Awesome Statues of Jesus from Around the World

Ladies, man has been trying to depict Christ in so many ways for so many centuries. Although it’s impossible to show Jesus in a light that encompasses His true magnificence, artists have done their best to represent Him…with some really amazing results!

Take a look at the following images of statues from around the world depicting our Lord Jesus Christ! They’re by no means in order of my favorite, although I’m pretty partial to the first, Christ the Redeemer in Rio, especially on a cloudy day–check out the featured image above!

I really like the one statue under water. Very artsy! I know of another Jesus statue called Christ of the Ozarks near Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I remember going to see it when I was really young. It was really cool!! 🙂
