    10 Gorgeous Purity Rings

Even though purity rings (sometimes called promise rings or abstinence rings) have been around since the 1990s, they just keep getting prettier and more creative! The good news is just about anything can be turned into a purity ring, even if it’s not marketed as one. Here are a few of our favorites to help you honor your commitment to remain sexually abstinent until marriage.

    1. True Love Waits Open Heart Ring ($25.95)

If you want something a little fancy and glam, this sparkly heart with engraving on the sides is adorable.

    2. Sterling Silver Ladies’ True Love Waits Rings – Stackable Set of 3 ($65.00)

Some girls love wearing lots of rings at any given time, so this is a perfect fit. Also, if you’re wanting a casual day, you can can slip on only one.

    3. Etsy Gold Plated Twisted Ring ($10.99)

Etsy is the best place to go if you want a ring that’s truly unique to you. They’re also made or distributed by independent craftspeople, so they have a personal touch. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, look for a gold or silver plated ring.

    Esty Purity Ring

    4. James Avery Tiny Hearts Band ($47.00)

This was actually my purity ring before I got married! My parents made a big deal about getting me a nice one and presenting it to me at a True Love Waits ceremony at youth group. It was not designed to be a purity ring, but I thought that with all the hearts, it was ideal.

    5. Rose Gold Vermeil Scripted Love Ring ($34.00)

Rose gold is very flattering on many skin tones, and we at PI are crazy about seeing “love” scripted out!

    6. Christian Women’s Sterling Silver 5mm Cursive “I Will Wait for My Beloved” Girls Purity Ring ($18.00)

This meaningful inscription leaves no doubt what the purpose of the ring is: to remind you of your love for your future husband!

    7. Stackable Expressions Cultured Freshwater Pearl Ring in Sterling Silver ($49.00)

Pearl has been the gem choice of classy women for centuries. Like many rings on this list, this beautiful one could even be worn on your right hand after getting married and replacing your purity ring with an engagement ring!

    8. Three Color Band True Love Waits Ring ($19.99)

This ring is so unique and goes with everything because it has three different band colors. Start here if you’re looking for something really modern.

    Multicolor Stackable Purity Ring

    9. Pandora My One True Love Ring ($80.00)

Along the same style as the James Avery ring above, this band of hearts is very elegant. It contains real sterling silver and gold, so it’s a little on the higher end, budget-wise. But since this is such a special piece of jewelry you’ll probably wear for many years—totally worth it.

    10. Sterling Silver Diamond Purity Ring ($105.80)

If you want something blingy, this sparkly showstopper of a ring is the way to go! We love the detail of the center stones and inscription.

    1. I like number 8. I don’t have one yet but my mom wants me to get one and I want one too. the guys at school don’t like me but it would be a good reminder for me. either 8 or one. they are cheaper than most but still really cute. 8 is more me.

    2. I had a purity ring and I wore it to school a couple years ago. We were told that they were ok to wear but then a teacher told me to take it off so i put it in my pocket and later that day it was gone. 🙁

    3. I have one! It’s a pretty simple silver band, but it has these really cool notches in the sides and an amythest, which is my birthstone. It wasn’t given to me as a purity ring, but I decided to start using it as one after I realized that I wanted to make that kind of commitment (totally on my own) to God and my future husband.

    4. Honestly I think the poll should have included an option like “I don’t want/need a purity ring” I love the representation of the commitment but it shouldn’t be assumed that every girl either wants one or already has one

    5. I had a beautiful pure gold ring with a little pink gem in the middle. My dad gave it to me when I was young and I absolutely loved it. It meant so much to me. One day I lost it at work and I cried for days upon days. But my sweet boyfriend bought me a new one. It’s silver with little “diamond” gems and 1 Timothy 4:12 inscribed on it.
