I have really, really thick, heavy hair — and to top it off it’s down to my waist, so “updos” are no-nos. It’ll either fall down at an inopportune moment or I’ll have a blinding headache in an hour. So when I feel fancy, it’s braids and shiny hair-junk. The best I can do for getting it off my neck is pigtails.
