A warm and “toasty” breakfast for a chilly December morning❄ (even though the high today is 86°F🙃) I never make french toast🍞, so I decided it was worth trying today. And now I’m wondering why I don’t do this more often😂 . Taking the morning off just to relax, enjoy the stillness and read a bit of the New Testament. I used to struggle a lot with picking up my bible and reading because I felt like I had to study it like a textbook. But my small group leader suggested to “just read it” and it’s totally changed my desire to read. It’s great to dig deep into the meaning and connections of the Bible, but I’ve heard from God every time by simply just reading. Thought I should share that with you guys💜 . Two slices of bread (@angelicbakehouse) soaked in a mixture of 1 egg + 3 tbs almond milk and cooked in a skillet for about 1 min each side. Topped with almond yogurt + almond butter + granola + all the fruit🍓🍌 . “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” {2 Timothy 3:16}

nothing like some cozy oats, a glob of almond butter, and a large cup of coffee to kick off a monday ☕💃 I got in a killer leg workout before sitting down to a slow breakfast with my journal before the craziness of the day really begins! 🤗 I love taking a few moments in the morning to write down three things I am grateful for, one thing I will let go of, and one thing that I will focus on for that day. It takes no more than 5 minutes, but helps me set the tone for the day, and really starts it off on a positive note 💕 I hope you all have a marvellous monday! . . 👉🏻 vanilla-maca-chia oats: 1/2 cup of @bobsredmill gf rolled oats cooked in 1 and 1/4 cups water on the stovetop, and then I added 1/4 of a mashed banana, 1 scoop of @furtherfood collagen peptides, 1 serving of @nuzest_usa vanilla protein powder, cinnamon, 1 tsp of @salbachia chia seeds, and 1/2 tsp of @navitasorganics maca powder, topped with banana slices, blackberries, @manitobaharvest hemp hearts, @navitasorganics cacao nibs, and a glob of @maranathanutbutter almond butter
